October 24, 2024 | 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Highlands United Church | 3255 Edgemont Blvd, North Vancouver
Update:
Thank you to our members and special guests for showing up on October 24, 2024. We had great presentations from DNV Mayor Mike Little, North Shore Emergency Management’s Lisa Dalla Vecchia, and RCMP Constable Paul Reece.
Farewells were made to long-term ECA board member Corrie Kost, with additional appreciation to Lydia for being the silent partner in all Corrie’s efforts.
A break for coffee, complements of Delany’s, and an opportunity to chat with our presenters and DNV council members who also made time to join us.
Our business meeting was short and snappy.
We look forward to further refining our approach to our Annual General Meetings: to make them a worthwhile event for neighbours to meet, share ideas and participate in deciding how ECA continues to grow and evolve.
We welcome feedback from our members!

Agenda Highlights
There’s sure to be something of interest and value to our fellow neighbours in this year’s AGM…
- ‘State of the District’ address by Mayor Mike Little
- Special recognition of our outgoing, long-time ECA board member Corrie Kost. Well over 30 years!
- Presentation by North Shore Emergency Management
- Presentation by North Vancouver RCMP Constable Paul Reece
- A break to mix and mingle and share ideas–did we mention that Mayor AND Council members will be there?
- The business part of our program should be short and sweet: What we’ve done this past year, where we’d like to go this coming year, and elections.
Please join us for the evening. We’re excited to tell you what we’ve been up to this past year, and what we plan to accomplish in the year ahead–with you!
